Spring Makeover Event.

Today was the spring makeover event at White House Black Market. I went to answer questions about hair trends for this spring. I cut out celebrity photos to use as examples. This spring natural looking color will be the trend. No more chunky brown and blonde hi-lights. Blended blondes, sun kissed brunettes, and reds with a touch of copper through the top, are in high demand. As far as cuts go, shoulder length hair will be big, according to Vogue. "It's not short, not long, it's just right." But, if you want short, try a cropped bob as opposed to the angled bobs that were huge last year. Any kind of bang, especially side swept, will continue to be a hit. Also big waves in long hair.

They had a nice size crowd, so I was able to hand out business cards and we did a drawing for a cut and style. Two girls from the MAC counter in Park Plaza came to show spring make-up. I got them to give me a mini make-over. They used blues and grays on my eyes and pink on my lips and cheeks. I also snagged my Easter dress while I was there. Over all the event was lots of fun.
